A view of Mont Saint Michel - rock island in the gulf of Saint Malo in north west France. On the summit of the rock island Mont Saint Michel thront an abbey church of the Benediktiner from the Middle Ages, which coined/shaped the history of the island considerably. The island is only with tide, which is here very pronounced by the strokestroke stroke of the sea, completely by the water of the gulf by Saint Malo surrounded. It is today connected by a high route with the coast of normandy. A narrow road leads past from the medieval towers and walls the edge of the island along, houses and business, up to the monastery systems which were situated above. Updating every 30 seconds.
